1. (Persian) Any style of ownership of property that is without defect or reasonable doubt even though the subject property may be encumbered. Under this kind of property may fall such styles as clear title, good title, marketable title, clear title of record, or clear record title, perfect title 2. absolute title : As applied to title to land, an exclusive title, or at least a title which excludes all others not compatible with it. An absolute title to land cannot exist at the same time in different persons or in different governments.
